About Us

Why Twin Cities Radon Testing?

Radon is a colorless and odorless gas found in the soil and common throughout Minnesota. Because soil is porous, radon moves up from the soil and into the home. The gas can accumulate in the air we breathe becoming a health concern.

We are your local, professional radon testing company.

We use continuous radon monitors (CRM's) to measure the amount of radon in your home to establish an accurate reading of your radon levels.  You get your results the same day the test is completed, giving you immediate answers.

Why should I test my home?

The Minnesota Department of Health  recommends that all Minnesota homeowners test their homes for radon. A radon test is the only way to find out how much radon is in your home.

  • All Minnesota homes should be tested for radon and then retested every 2-5 years (save your test results).
  •  The U.S. Surgeon General has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States today.
  •   Minnesota has high radon levels due to its unique geology and cold climate. During the winter, home heating systems tend to draw in radon gas from the soil, increasing radon levels inside the home.
